I have a 14 month old daughter, I am not trying to potty train yet, i am just trying to think ahead, and wondering when a good time would be. I hear its easier to potty train girls than it is with boys.

What age did you start?
What method did you use. I know there are toddler lids that you can place on the toilet, or there are the little pottys. which one is best.
How long did it take for your child to “get the hang of it”?

She wants to wear big girl panties like her sisters but I tell her she has to start going in the potty to be able to wear them. She has done it twice at daycare but won’t at home. If anyone has any suggestions on the best way to help her along, please let me know.
