Someone I know is potty training a 9/10month old.
It seems really odd to me, but that doesn’t mean its wrong, Maybe they’re on the money and we’re wrong for doing it a lot later.. I just can’t understand how you can teach a baby who can’t walk, let alone crawl to take himself to the toilet.
What do you think about it? Have you potty trained early?
I also think i’m too lazy to try that young.

Don’t get me wrong, I crate my dogs and think crate training is a great tool for housebreaking. But to put a puppy or even a dog in a crate then go to work and show up 9 or 10 hours later with no potty breaks is just unreasonable.

I have been trying to potty train my 21 month old daughter since she was 14 months old. I always let her watch me go potty, I put her on the potty with books and toys, I sing a song while she is on the potty, I have tried letting her walk around naked, and then when she pees on the floor I run her over to the toilet, she never tells me when she has to go, she never grunts, squats, etc. When her diapers were off…she held it in…pissed a few drops…we caught her and took her to the toilet, and she stopped her pee flow…she did this several times the same night…then she finally snuck off and let niagra falls come out in the kitchen. I try to always be positive and not force her.
Do you think she is too young for toilet training? What else should I try? She even sings my potty song, and when I change her diaper she points to her privates and says pee-pee. Plus with the incident in the kitchen it was like she knew what she was doing, and did it on purpose or something.
